Holde Agri Invest SA, companie romaneasca ce opereaza terenuri agricole, anunta un parteneriat strategic cu AgroCity, un startup agro-tech. Prin aceasta colaborare, Holde devine investitor strategic in startup dar si primul client care va folosi solutia AgroCity. AgroCity este o companie romaneasca din domeniul tehnologiei, ce a dezvoltat un software care ii ajuta pe fermieri sa gestioneze intr-un mod mai eficient toate datele si activitatile din cadrul unei ferme, contribuind astfel la un control sporit precum si la cresterea productivitatii si a profitabilitatii.

Solutia AgroCity digitalizeaza toate operatiunile unei ferme agricole, inclusiv productia, predictia si analiza datelor, precum si gestionarea terenurilor luate in arenda. Software-ul ofera o analiza detaliata a modului in care cheltuielile si veniturile sunt distribuite intr-o ferma si imbunatateste fluxurile de lucru.
AgroCity a fost infiintata in 2019 de Marius Pasca, consultant SAP cu experienta de 13 ani, si Antonio Primera, antreprenor si dezvoltator web full-stack, cu Dan Oros, Head of Marketing la Google si YouTube Romania, ca investitor initial si advisor.

AgroCity se bazeaza pe un model Software-as-a-Service, iar clientii platesc un abonament lunar in functie de dimensiunea fermei si de serviciile pe care le utilizeaza. Interfata simpla si intuitiva a AgroCity este usor accesibila de oriunde si poate fi folosita si de utilizatori fara cunostinte tehnice. Solutia oferita de AgroCity se adreseaza fermierilor care opereaza ferme de cel putin 500 de hectare.
Planul pentru 2020 este de a atinge 12.000 de hectare de teren gestionate cu ajutorul solutiei AgroCity si 30.000 de hectare pana in 2021. Start-up-ul vizeaza pe viitor si extinderea internationala.
In urma investitiei in AgroCity, Holde Agri Invest detine o participatie minoritara in startup. In prezent companiile finalizeaza conectarea fermelor Holde la solutia AgroCity si incepand cu campania de toamna, acestea vor fi gestionate integral digital, contribuind astfel la productivitatea si eficienta terenurilor operate.
Holde detine in prezent doua ferme, situate in Rosiorii de Vede si Buciumeni, care opereaza peste 7.000 de hectare. Dupa ce a atras cu succes 12 milioane lei de la investitorii de la Bursa de Valori Bucuresti in iunie 2020, Holde este in prezent in proces de extindere suplimentara si se asteapta sa inchida anul acesta cu un total de 10.000 de hectare de teren exploatat.
Obiectivul Holde este de a deveni unul dintre cei mai importanti jucatori romani de pe piata agricola locala, atingand un minim de 20.000 hectare de teren operat in urmatorii sapte ani. Pentru a atinge acest obiectiv, Holde va investi peste 50 de milioane de euro in achizitii de terenuri, utilaje noi, instalatii de depozitare, precum si sisteme moderne de irigatii.

Holde Agri Invest SA, a Romanian agricultural company operating farmland, announces a strategic partnership with a local agro-tech start-up, AgroCity. AgroCity developed software that helps farmers manage activities efficiently on a farm with the help of technology, contributing to increased control, productivity and overall profitability. The collaboration between the two companies entails Holde investing in the start-up, as well as becoming the first customer to use AgroCity’s solution.

AgroCity solution digitalizes all the farm operations, including production, data prediction, and analysis, as well as management of leased land. The software provides a detailed analysis of how expenses and incomes are distributed on a farm as well as improves workflows. AgroCity is based on the Software-as-a-Service model, which means that the customers pay a monthly subscription depending on the size of the farm and the services they use. The simple and intuitive interface of AgroCity is easily accessible from anywhere and can also be used by users without technological background. AgroCity targets farmers who operate land of at least 500 hectares. The plan for 2020 is to reach 12,000 hectares of land managed with the help of AgroCity solution and 30,000 hectares by 2021. The current focus is the Romanian market; however, the start-up will target international expansion in the future.
Following the investment of Holde Agri Invest SA in AgroCity, Holde has a minority stake in the start-up. The companies are currently finalizing the connection of Holde’s farms to the AgroCity solution and starting with the autumn campaign, all Holde’s farms will be fully managed digitally, thus contributing to the productivity and efficiency of the operated land.
Holde currently holds two farms, located in Rosiorii de Vede and Buciumeni, which boast together over 7,000 hectares. After successfully raising 12 million lei from Bucharest Stock Exchange investors in June 2020, Holde is currently in the process of further expansion and expects it will close this year with 10,000 hectares of operated land.
Holde’s goal is to become one of the most prominent Romanian players on the local agricultural market, reaching a minimum of 20,000 hectares of cultivated land within the next seven years. To achieve this objective, Holde will invest over 50 million euros in land acquisitions as well as new machinery, storage facilities as well as modern irrigation systems.
